How we date things
Announcement: February 26, 2026 (Gematsu, Steam news on the original SPRAWL). Demo: June 9, 2026, Steam Next Fest. Release date reveal: August 11, 2026. Launch: September 8, 2026. Those are the four public beats. Anything else is rumour until MAETH or Kwalee posts it.
This wiki will turn this hub into a patch log after launch. Until then, “updates” means calendar and demo caveats, not invented version numbers.
What counts as an official update
Steam news on app 3748520, the @SPRAWLfps account, the MAETH Discord, PlayStation/Xbox/Nintendo posts, and Kwalee press. YouTube essays are useful for combat and not useful as patch notes.
If a creator says “out now” while pointing at the demo, that is the demo. The full campaign’s store pages still list September 8, 2026. We will not blur those lines to chase a freshness stamp.
After you read the calendar
Wishlist on Steam or Epic, install the demo, then follow Getting Started. If you already finished Buried, read weapon ranks and wait. The links hub is the follow-list so you see the patch that will inevitably land on or after September 8.
Console players waiting on PS5, Xbox Series, or Switch 2 should still read demo notes. The combat thesis will not change on a different stick. Only the FOV menu might.
When launch day exists in the past, this paragraph will be rewritten. Today it is still the future.
